Reason for Pattern Show-through: When printing white or light-colored logos on black or dark fabrics, the print may show slight transparency due to the opacity limits of the dark background, making the white look less than pure white. Why can't direct-to-garment digital printing be applied directly to the upper-left chest of a 'finished Polo shirt'?

Reason: Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing machines require an extremely flat printing surface. On finished Polo shirts, the upper-left chest area is usually close to the placket, buttons, or seams. These uneven structures obstruct the normal operation of the printhead. Therefore, direct digital printing cannot be applied directly to the upper-left chest of completed Polo garments. Solutions: Panel Printing: If digital printing must be used in this position, it must be printed on the fabric panels after cutting but before sewing into a finished garment. Alternative Processes: For finished garment customization, we recommend using computer embroidery or heat transfer (vinyl/decals) for the upper-left chest position.
